& if it's true that SSB is legal in these 2 countries is there any diference between the French SSB channel alocation or are they both on the same frequency block ie mid 40's or low 40's fro example. |

The French and Spanish allocations of frequencies are both between 26.565-27.405. This is the same as our “mid block” band
Good god look at that price |

As cbers we should all know how to use low pass filters and to be quite honest its quite hard to interfere with digital tv signals and modern tv equipment (Ive tried).
The government response to ssb is full of holes and outdated, the only reason I can assume is that they wont get any revenue out of it and wont spend any revenue in regulating it.
Hopefully the EU will eventually pull us out of this doldrum and shake the cobwebs off the apointed UK officials, to say that our bands are congested already is just crazy! have they ever switched on a CB radio? Also does anybody know if the MOD have switched to digital radio yet? if they havnt they cant be useing 27mhz much these days as Im not hearing any strange noises across the band and I live very near one of their main training camps in the north.

Oh well they are still there to be considered.
