Hello!
#post156
Hello! I'm new. I've always been interested in CB radio, but I don't have one yet! I'm not sure whether I should get a base station rig, or one that will go in a car. What's a recommendable rig? Also, What frequency are people on now? AM or FM?

But, anyway, just to say hi!

From Die Hard 4.0:

John: A CB radio? Isn't that a bit low tech?

Warlock: Yeah, well, when the last microchip in the world goes down, i'll still be able to communicate with people, whether it's zombies or survivors.

personally i prefer home base (maybe because i haven't got a car)

i always liked the Maycom EM-27 myself, it will do for both mobile and home base

FM is the norm nowa days XD
